Robyn Navarro
Founder and Owner of Upstage Design
Robyn's passion for design began when she was ten years old, helping her parents source vintage finds to sell at swap meets. She opened her first store on Melrose Avenue at age 23, before beginning a career in production design while also studying environmental design. By age 30, Robyn was a union art director, masterminding large film projects.
Her ongoing love for the mechanics of design led her to join her husband’s firm, Navarro Construction where she led the design of residential projects for over 12 years, earning multiple awards and accolades from their clients. Upstage Design was born out of client requests for Robyn’s highly curated approach to design and her ability to create warm, elegantly livable staged experiences.
Robyn gathers inspirations from her travels with her husband and two daughters. She continues to be an avid shopper, scouring auctions, estate sales, and private party sales to find unique pieces to use in her custom installations. Engaged in her local community and committed to giving back, Robyn also donates design goods and services for charity events
